1. Made for the community, by the community. There's never been a more important time to support your local community than right now, which is why we've partnered with local seamstresses and tailors in the Boston area to make face masks and neck gaiters out of our high performance fabrics. These individuals have been hit especially hard over the last several months as the revenue from prom, graduation, and professional tailoring services has disappeared.
  
  We're paying our tailors and seamstresses $5 for each mask or neck gaiter they make as a way to keep their businesses funded and get as many face coverings to our customers as we can. When you purchase a mask or gaiter, $5 goes directly to the sewer, $5 for shipping, $5 for materials, and $5 to support Manual.
  
  As a small business, we're asking you, our community, to help us fund this Boston based operation and make this effort possible. Together, as we look for ways to support one-another, we'll build a stronger community than ever before.
1. For our current batch of masks, we're using a 100% brushed twill cotton. This fabric provides the perfect balance of weight and breathability for the spring/summer months ahead and feels soft and comfortable against your face.
  
  For the bands that go around your ears, we are using a piping made out of our Baselayer fabric, opposed to standard elastic bands, which can cause discomfort after extended wear. The result is a supportive face mask that you can wear comfortably throughout the day.

1. At this time we cannot guarantee a specific color for your order, it simply depends on what's currently being made.
2. This mask in not PPE, has not been evaluated by the CDC or FDA and is not a substitute for N95, surgical, or procedural masks.
3. Due to the special nature of this product, all sales are final and not eligible to be cancelled.

A seamstress and custom clothing designer based just outside of Boston, Mireni is responsible for making several hundred masks for Manual in a few short days. She's using the income to cover her rent this month and jumped at the opportunity to help us produce masks.

It's safe to say that Mireni is one of the hardest working individuals we've ever had the pleasure of working with, and best of all, she's right here in our local community. The Manual team has found their new go-to seamstress.
