We founded Manual Outfitters to replace the clutter and waste in every guy’s wardrobe with a small collection of well-crafted, high performance fundamentals that reset your expectation for the impact a single item of clothing can have on your wardrobe.
In an industry defined by rapid seasonal changes, marketing gimmicks, and overall waste, we’re committed to building apparel you want to invest in. Apparel that outperforms, outlasts, and out-comforts, anything in market. Apparel that's manufactured sustainably and responsibly. Apparel that you reach for everyday.
We hope you’ll join us on this journey, as we redefine menswear one item at a time.
-Jeff & Mike, Co-founders
When we identify a foundational item we’d like to add to our collection, we start the design process from scratch, erasing all preconceived notions of what the garment should or should not do. From there, we look at how we can radically boost the performance and comfort of the item in a way that’s never been done before, setting new benchmarks every step of the way.
What we end with is a fundamentally better garment. An item you’ll find yourself reaching for everyday. An item that resets your expectations for the value a single piece of clothing can add to your collection.
That’s the power of focusing intently on one item at a time.
Second only to oil, the clothing and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world. Driven by rapid seasonal changes and our addiction to fast fashion, we consume and manufacture at an unsustainable rate.
We aim to put this cycle to an end by sourcing sustainably produced fabrics and building garments that have more than a season of life in their seams.
All of our items are cut & sewn right here in the USA, just outside of Boston Massachusetts.
And everything we make is fundamentally designed to outlast and outperform the competition across a wide range of use cases, allowing you to do more, with less.
Why do we do all of this? Because it’s the right thing to do.
