We designed the Baselayer to look, perform, and smell as good on Day 2 as it does when you first toss it on. That was our bar to make sure that it could handle your work day and transition seamlessly into dinner and drinks. No change required. We looked to rowing for inspiration and incorporated design theories that optimize peak performance from a seated position. Remind you of your day?
When we first talked with factories about building a better Baselayer, we were told there was a template to follow for a t-shirt. When we told them we had our own designs, that required new techniques, some said they simply couldn’t do it. You needed a technician that knew the machines inside and out to tune them to hit such precision. So, we went to the guys over at Merrow Sewing & Mfg. These guys not only sew some of the most technical performance knits around, but they've also been building the world’s best sewing machines for the past 180 years.
“These are way more than just undershirts. These are the best tees I own, period. I have them in multiple sizes for different ways to use them. As an undershirt, tee to lounge in, tee to go out in…”
“I found you online, and tested you directly against that other premium brand. You won across the board, so I came back at bought a few more. Great undershirt. Excited to see what you do next.”
“I just bought 3 more, so now I have 5 in total. I literally can’t wear a dress shirt any more without these. It’s something I didn’t know I needed until I did. Now I can’t live without them. It controls moisture great, makes my dress shirts feel more comfortable, and is going to extend the life of them.”
